I’ve attached the head and started to make the hands. still lots of smoothing to do. I had an accident and she’s not stable anymore… I will need to find a solution for that. She can only stand up thanks to my bottle of methylated spirit.

First time I try to paint a sculpture. She’s 20 years older after being painted…
I really understand the importance of smoothing the clay now

this is the first step of what will be a schoolgirl. I need to work on the expression and the shape of the face. she looks a bit too old in my opinion.

I’ve decided to make a different caracter from the previous girls I made before during my free time this week-end. This is the rapid concept of a Leprechaun.
In Irish mythology, this kind of creature is a male faery, usually which looks like an old man. They are known to hide gold, and the only way to find this gold is to capture a Leprechaun and interrogate him. It is said that at the end of a rainbow, you may find a leprechaun and his treasured pot of gold. It is also said that if anyone keeps an eye fixed upon one, he cannot escape, but the moment the gaze is withdrawn, he vanishes.

I’ve worked a bit on the body, arms and the face. I’ve changed the lips and nose, and I’ve added a better smile.
