devil - 2nd male character

It’s been a while since my last post.

I’ve tried a new sculpting exercice making a muscle-bound hero character. This is my second male sculpture after the rastaman.

I’ve started by making the basic shape of the skeleton and then using an anatomy reference book, I’ve placed the main muscles of the body.

main muscles of the body - front

When I had the muscles almost right, I’ve used a very thin layer of sculpey and I’ve overlayed this skin over the whole body.

I’ve added details like veins, wrinkles on the neck, harms and face.

This character looks like a devil or it could be a sort of faun with normal feet. I didn’t want to make a bad character so I won’t keep the eyes totally white.

This is the final result before the baking process.
